Welcome Parents!

What is SES?

SES, also known as Supplemental Educational Services, is free tutoring for children who will benefit most by additional academic attention in the small group forum.

As part of the No Child Left Behind Act, states are required to set up evaluative measures to determine whether a school has met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).   Typically, these measures take into account student's achievement on state mandated tests, attendance rates, and graduation rates.

Title I schools that do not meet these measures for at least three years must offer Supplemental Educational Services to students who meet the specified income requirements.   Most children who are in Title I schools which are also in Second Year of School Improvement, and who qualify for free lunch, will also qualify for SES.

Why choose Renaissance Enrichment Services, LLC as your SES provider?

Renaissance Enrichment Services, LLC is a tutoring company founded by a husband and wife who have extensive educational backgrounds in both the primary and secondary educational settings.   The most successful schools in the country are moving towards a substantially longer school day.   RES views Supplemental Services as an opportunity to add an extended, richer, more productive school day to the lives of the children.   Through this learning extension, children will have the opportunity to improve their reading and math skills by leaps and bounds.

Renaissance Enrichment Services, LLC offers small group settings with never more than six children in any one session.
